Our 50,000-square-foot Sports Complex is the home to indoor and outdoor tennis courts, a racquetball court, an indoor pool, a Fitness Club, a cardio room, table tennis and pool tables, a Tennis Pro Shop and lounges and locker rooms for guest use. The Sports Complex also offers fitness training, yoga classes, tennis clinics and children's programs.

Personal Training
Take control of your fitness quest with a Polar TriFIT™ assessment with a professional trainer. This state-of-the-art fitness evaluation starts with a computerized profile with a detailed analysis of your health risks, cardiovascular fitness, muscular strength, flexibility and body-fat composition. Based upon this evaluation, our professional trainers establish a healthy, attainable plan to reach your fitness goals. Start your fitness plan while at the resort and then take your motivation home. Tri-Fit assessment is $150 for guests, $225 per couple.
Personal Training Session
Get a one-on-one session with an exercise specialist and learn new training techniques or refine your existing programs with take-home information. $60
Body Composition
Skin fold calipers measure a precise lean-to-fat ratio, girth measurement and your current weight to determine exercise, nutrition and wellness goals. $25

Tennis Center
The Grove Park Inn is rated one of the "50 Greatest Tennis Resorts" by Tennis Magazine, and ranks in the top 75 tennis resorts in the country by Tennis Resorts Online. Our Tennis Club features three outdoor hard courts, three indoor hard courts and Tennis Pro Shop. Court Rental Fees are $20 per court, per hour. Lockers and towels are provided to guests at no charge.
Tennis Pro Shop
Stop in for Wilson tennis equipment, sports attire and tennis racket supplies, as well as complimentary loaner rackets and tennis balls for guests. A ball machine may be rented for $15/hour. Please make advanced court reservations at the Pro Shop by calling 828-252-2711, ext. 1046.
Private Tennis Lessons
The Sports Complex has two tennis professionals on staff who offer private lessons. Advanced booking is preferred. Please contact the Sports Complex at Ext. 1046 with questions or to book an appointment. $75/hour.

Racquetball
Swing into action with a game of racquetball. Rackets, balls and goggles are available for guests at no charge. Reservations are taken for one-hour intervals. Check in at the registration desk before hitting the courts.
