Celebrate The Grove Park Inn’s 100th Birthday with our family!
The Grove Park Inn opened its historic doors on July 12, 1913. On Friday, July 12, 2013, we invite you to join in our celebration with vintage music, complimentary cake, and a champagne toast for a once-in-a-lifetime birthday celebration.
William Jennings Bryan, Secretary of State in 1913, offered the following statements during the public address at our opening banquet: “Today we stand in this wonderful hotel, not built for a few, but the multitudes that will come and go. I congratulate these men. They have built for the ages.”

Centennial Anniversary Celebration
& Open House
The day long event will feature vintage music, local artists, and a 100 year old Inn with a fresh new look. Also part of the celebration will be many of our local partners such as the Asheville Museum of Art and The Blue Ridge National Heritage area. Closing out the day will be a champagne toast, time capsule unveiling and a grand fireworks finale.
